Hi! I am Emily, founder of Health Mutt Mountaineers LLC. A small town Indiana girl who made the trek cross country and landed herself in Denver, Colorado to pursue my ultimate dream job of running a dog hiking company!
For the past 5 years I have operated my own dog walking and pet sitting business, but my love for animals goes far beyond that. My heart is big into animal welfare and rescue as well as pet nutrition. Working with animals the past 20 years in veterinary clinics, dog daycares, grooming salons, boarding kennels, and even the shelter environment has given me vast experience and equipped me with valuable knowledge to help people and their pets in many aspects. I have a passion for helping animals live their happiest and healthiest lives!

SERVICES AND FEES
ON-LEASH GROUP HIKE
3-5 hour door-to-door hiking adventure. Dogs remain safely on leash at all times during the hike and securely transported to and from your home. Trail time averages 90 minutes dependent upon weather and distance traveled.
After the hike, we will ensure your dog gets a good wipe down of muddy paws and freshen water before retreating for the day. Speaking of treats, we got you covered!
Group hikes are perfect for active dogs who need to get out to see the sights and sniff the sniffs. Fulfilling their exercise needs as well as helping with common behavior issues that result from boredom or anxiety.
Dogs must travel well, be social with other dogs, and have good leash manners along with no history of aggressive behavior.

PET NUTRITION CONSULTATION
Years of feeding over processed kibble has taken its toll on the lives and health of our fur babes. Cancer, digestive issues, skin and ear infections are prevalent.
Nutrition consults include an evaluation of your pet's diet to help alleviate food allergies and intolerance.
Recommendation of appropriate supplement regimen may be given for immune support and optimal health.

PET SITTING VISITS
Put your mind at ease by allowing your pets to stay in the comfort of their own home while you are away! Pet sitting drop in visits are a great option to reduce stress for both you and your pet while you travel. Replicating their daily routine as closely as possible helps eliminate anxiety. Pricing for additional pets varies.

MEET AND GREET
Complimentary introduction. Allows your pup to become familiar with us and enables us to get to know you and your pup too!
We go over details of our services and answer any questions you may have and address any concerns.
